Pat,

I am writing to you to in relation to your recent trend of playing people out of position. As a fan of CCFC I have had, in recent times, to come accustomed to crap management of our beloved club and team, with your arrival I have come to expect better. Whatever way you look at it the argument boils down to the fact that you shouldn't continuosly play people out of position when it obviously isn't working out and when there are natural replacemnts available, it's bad both for the individual players confidence and the cohesion of the team. Sure it works sometimes ie Billy but it clearly isn't working for others who have been given more than enough games at this stage. Having seen the LC semi, how Kevin Murray (a cente half!)could ever be played in midfield again, not to mind so soon is a mystery, same goes for Hedderman (a full back!). If I, a mere paying fan(atic), can spot this surely a seasoned professional manager like yourself also can.

Please start playing the midfielders we have rotting on the bench ; Mucka, Warren to name the two at the top of the queue.

Take Colin T as a prize example of a midfielder who has come into midfield after a long absence from the side and is playing brilliantly, give the two lads above a go, god knows you've tried everyone else bar gunther in their positions at this stage!!

Upon your arrival you cited posters on internet sites as being damaging to you and your team at your previous club, I urge you to not simply dismiss me, and my like, as same, indeed if you scan the pages of this and other sites you will find that literally 100% of posters, like myself, are fully behind you and the team, but will from time to time voice concerns, in a constructive manner, over particular issues such as this one.

thats the thing. Woods has been a revelation since going to left back but when Dolan put him there first we were saying what the **** is he doing!

And IMO K Murray is a central midfielder and not a centre half. Did he play there for Leeds?

I would say Mucka and maybe Warren should be given a run soon though. I'd like to see Colin P coming on instead of Behan aswell. But then we all have our own opinions!

Is there someone who knows the real story here? Murray played all of last season at centre back in the U21 team...was he actually out of position last year?

He's a good player, but in all fairness when was the last time he scored?! I can't believe the level of negativity surrounding dolan already. In fairness, hedderman is about the only left footed player we have- maybe dolan just wants a left footer out there? I think Dolan has to be given enough time to bring in new players before people start laying into him.

I'll put forward another possible reason...

Hedderman is a full-time pro with City.
Warren and Mucka are part-time with City with full-time "real" jobs.

I know, it's disgraceful. However, is there really all that much negativity? I'm pretty sure that 99% of City supporters are still totally behind him.

Not so sure al the fans are behind him. There's a lot of bitching on this site lately. CCFC fans are a fickle crowd.

For what it's worth, I think he's doing ok and will deliver trophies for us.
