    Billy Clery Interview

Here it is - Real Player needed.

He has some interesting things to say about the ref in that interview.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Well done Billy fair play for highlighting the inadequacies of the refereeing in our league. The referees are never held accountable its disgraceful.

gormley banned 4 matches after he complained for a " non penalty " then billy sent out after argueing with the ref ... it seems this is not a local problem?? every week there s a few coach complaining??

Fair play to Billy for having the balls to be honest about the ref. He should be involved at some level in the club if he doesn't want the top job.

Fair play. About time someone pointed out the blatant bias of some of the refs in this league. No wonder it is considered a mickey-mouse league by many, the bias is unbelievable at times (the two penalties againt Bray over the last two games)

Thanks for posting that A Face. Interesting to hear Billy's angle. They only showed a tiny clip of it on MNS. Just as well, because Billy could be fined for criticising the officials albeit justified.
