Obviously you haven't seen the surface in about 4 or 5 years...

It's is always in great nick, it is easily in the top 2 in the league. The one that's on par with it is Galway. The rest of the pitch's are just shocking, for so called bigger clubs to have such bad playing surfaces is a joke! Worst ive seen ov er the last few years would be the RSC or the Showgrounds.

From what I have seen it would have to be Wexford's home ground. Seen enough of it last season to be a fair judge of it.

Heard Galways is top class too. Cant comment havnt seen it in a few years.

Ramblers is pitch is good but this year it seems to have gone downhill in the pitch stakes.

IMO the winner would be either Wexford or Galway. Looking at Setanta there Saint Patricks pich looks good (i'll have a closer inspection Friday). Wexford is the best i've seen so far.

I was on it and it definitely was barren, last season i'll admit. Only going on what i've seen so far. Equal with most pitches in the league isn't a ringing endorsement to be fair.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I didnt say its equal with most pitches did i ? I said its equal to " any " pitch in the leauge. i.e pick the best pitch in your opinion and utd parks pitch would be at least its equal or better imho .

It was terrible last year.. was down there twice.. bobbley and hilly - like a big basket of hard boiled eggs with a green cloth over it.

Haha. The fact the entire pitch is a hill would be the reason there.

Terryland and Dalymount get the nod from me.
