A normal fan being asked to pay €100 for the dinner ticket is ludicrous

Define a 'normal' fan, please. Normality not something i would ever associate with supporting Sligo Rovers FC

Or funnily enough, not a word I would ever associate with you either
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Excited by the prospect of easy money from barstoolers.

Why is it ludicrous? That's what it costs to go to that type of event anywhere.

Well it's pricing a lot of fans out, that I know of. A lot of those that went to the 77 dinner last November are not going to this because of the price, myself included. I'd love to go, but not for 100euro.

surely 100 euro tickets is worth it for the good of the club, thats how they're going to raise funds and is that not what this is about. although i would have enjoyed the oppurtunity to brush off some of my finer threads!

it is not about us. it is more for the business community than the supporters and if you look at the bigger picture then it is more money for the club.

Mutt got a transfer to the 'high-powered' world of the Scottish Premier. Was McCool in the league-winning side? I can't quite remember. Skeff was on some very good Rovers teams (as well as some profoundly dire ones).
