    Ticketmaster

I went into Ticketmaster earlier to buy tickets for the Linkin Park gig in June. The price that is advertised is €69.50 per tickets including the booking fee. They charged me €143.50 for two tickets though as they added on an extra €4.50 as a "service charge". How many extra charges are they able to put on? When I read €69.50 including the booking fee I assumed that was the price I'd be paying. I should have just gone down to the Sound Cellar. They don't add on extra charges.

€4.50 doesn't sound too steep a booking fee to be honest

My point is that I didn't pay the advertised price. It stated that the booking fee was included but apparently there is a service charge as well

Are you sure in the fine print there wasn't something about service charges at outlets applying? Usually there would be, in very small print mind you, but it normally covers them

Ah jaysus don't get me started on Ticketmaster....absolute shower of w@nkers....

would love to see what this "service fee" goes to?? Funny that it's also larger in proportion to the actual ticket price....why is this? are the tickets heavier or something?????!!!!! Are they printed on solid gold????

I don't think so but I couldn't be sure. I'll check it out.

Sure is. I should have walked down but Ticketmaster is nearer to my job. Serves me right for being lazy.
