Shannon Matthews: What is going on?

have been following the Shannon Matthews case since she went missing and have to say things are getting more and more unsettling by the day.firstly when she was discovered she was taken into care and hasn't returned home, then in the last few days her stepfathers' mother and sister were arrested and charged with perverting the course of justice and aiding an offender. then her step-father himself was arrested on child pornography charges and now this
something very very strange going on here

I have friends in the Leeds area but have no intention of posting any information here that I cant back up with articles etc. However, lets just say the truth is starting to come out now and over the next week the true nature of this sad, sad saga will become public.

Some people sound never be allowed to have children.

However, the man accused of abducting her, the uncle of Shannon's stepfather, attempted suicide last night.

Well after what was written in the maddie macan Thread id be surprised if you where stopped writting what you have heard on this one.

My thoughts on it was someone saw the amount in the maddie fund and had a brain wave !

Seems plausible. did anyone see the channel4 documentary which followed the family from the day after she went missing.I mean ffs who's going to want camera's following you around if you are really searching for a missing child? especially if you knew the Doc wasn't going to be shown until after the child was found alive or dead

THE sobbing mum of Shannon Matthews allegedly confessed in a police car that she KNEW where her missing daughter was being held � from DAY ONE.

Karen, 32, had made emotional pleas for an abductor to return the nine-year-old throughout a massive 24-day hunt.

Detectives arrested Karen at 7.20pm on Sunday after she broke down in front of pals and her police family liaison officer.

She allegedly blurted out: �I knew where she was all the time.�

Karen has told cops the background lay in a plan to leave her partner of four years, supermarket fishmonger Craig Meehan, 22.

She claims the man accused of snatching Shannon � Craig�s uncle Michael Donovan, 39 � had offered her a place to live.

Feel so sorry for the poor child. With a mother like that

What about the guy who was just trying to help her get away from the partner ( if that story is true ) and has now been locked up and branded a peado !!

I think it was obvious when Shannon was put into care rather than being handed back to her family that there was a lot more to this case than met the eye. I can't say I'm surprised with any of this to be honest. The whole family defines the term "knacker". Asking the McCann fund for cash and not being able to grasp why they couldn't just hand it over

. Apologies if I'm coming across as some prejudicial dinosaur but can't help the way I see it.

Your not coming across as anything of the sort. if you look up CHAV in the Dictionary you're likely to see a family portrait of the Matthews. the C4 documentary that I mentioned above showed the inside of their house to the whole nation and TBH I wouldn't allow a dog to live like that. thank god they haven't invented Smell-o-vision yet

To be fair, it hasn't been proven that it was actually anyone in the family who requested money from the McCann fund. Yet.

The whole thing is a total farce though. If the woman is guilty of having some role in a plot to extort money on the back of a fake kidnap she deserves to be castigated by society.

Seen somewhere that the police want to interview Shannons mother again, nothing to do the alledged kidnap, they want to know how she persuaded 5 men to sleep with her.

Schoolgirl Shannon Matthews was drugged as part of a plan to kidnap her by her mother and the man in whose flat she was found, a jury in Britain heard today.

Pretty disturbing what's come through in the courts.

Absolutely shocking that someone would arrange to treat their daughter this way.
