The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Well deserved most definitely.
Just to have the audacity to try one from there is fantastic, and the skill to actually score it - unbelievable. Would love him at Derry.
He's been great any time I've seen him (albeit only in the Pats-Bohs game and MNS highlights) but probably deserved it just for that goal.
