Surely thats a joke or greatly exagerrated? If not then how could ye be fined that much already?

€15,000 for submitting licensing documents too late
    + €1,000 for Buttimer's Sleevegate vs. Sligo
+ €150 for bottles on the pitch

That's only as far as the first game of the season. I haven't seen any updates for subsequent weeks yet.

8 years ago we got at most the FAI cup final and perhaps a league decider on RTE if we were lucky.

    That was it.

Now the LOI is popping up on TV a hell of a lot more than any of us even imagined in our wildest dreams back then. One question to some of you? What the hell is your problem?

I come on this board and there is always a hardcore band of compulsive whingers who instantly attack anything positive which comes along. Honestly, half the time I think you are GAA moles bred in some lab in rural Mayo and sent out to destory the foreign code.

    Unreal!

You've got to be joking me? As for the jersey clash I thought the concensus was that Sligo/the referee were at fault?

No, Sligo got fined €1000 too. Both teams were in the wrong- Sligo for not having 2 strips, Pats for refusing to change. I think they got off very lightly indeed.

They didn't get off lightly but they did deserve to be fined. Sensible refereeing would've seen no clubs get fined though

You're saying that not showing the game won the league for you?
