Well done Kev,well deserved and keep it up
I agree with ya. Part-time footballers playing against full-timers must be the hardest form of competition there is.
Would have thought the decathlon event in olympics would have that honour

Fair enough those are valid points. I can't argue with them.
I'll watch what I say in the future because thinking back I was quite vocal in Drogheda but that was purely because i'd had a bad day leading up to the kick-off and the result wasn't going our way.

There's a separate thread running for the Sligo game.
Well deserved for Kev, he's a rock. Interesting to see that the guys impressing most are the more experienced players, Carey, Kev, Mucky, O'Reilly. Ok so Bilko, Guts, Cummins and Dav are havin their moments too. Not knocking anyone, but what we've learned so far is that there's no substitute for experience in the Prem.
We need an old head to plug centre mid as soon as we can get someone! I'll get knocked for saying it, but City have about 20 midfielders on the books and surely one or two could do a job for us once the window re-opens?
In the meantime, Mucky and/or Ken Coleman need to be playin there, leave Barrett or Kearney on the bench to run the legs off the opposition in the last 20 if we need it.
Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes. Brian Clough
I'd leave kearney on the bench he seems to be a bit off the pace,i know its only a couple of games in and you have to adjust to life in the premier but in my opinion he just doesn't look the part at least Barrett will throw in the challenges when they are needed.
