    Long Ball...

Whats Matthews obssession with the longball game? We'll be known as Longball Town at this rate.... No wonder people are deserting us in our droves... but fair play to Lavine at least for having the honesty to say he wants to stay. If he wanted to leave, he'd have left by now.

i think he is trying to follow in the foot steps of his ex- boss keely, with this negative long ball game. ant time we score first, which is not very often, instead of going and getting a second goal we stay back and defend, remember thats how shels won the league under keely all 1-o and 2-1 wins. its all right doing that if you have players who work well together and i have to say we dont have that. i feel its mainly matthews fault that their not.

i have been watchin the town play for nearly 25 years now and they have never been this bad to watch even when times were hard they tried to play football. it hurts the eyes to watch such crap. cope on alan matthews and get your team playin football

i dont know if Alan Mattews was watching on saturday night but if he was he would have seen that the 2 or 3 times the ball was played on the ground the town looked like the good team that done so well last season. The players the town have up front need the ball to their feet. Another thing is why not build on last years great u-21 team, all the great teams build from their youths up.
