    League Cup

Draw has been made for the second round.

If we beat Longford at home we're away at Sligo, I think we actually should take this competition seriously this season as winning it will qualify us for the Setanta Cup.

Tie of the round is Wexford Youths v Kerry League!

Dont agree. Survival in top flight far outweighs a few Setanta Cup games.

We're definitely at home against Longford.

I think we should take this seriously. How many years are we going to say survival in the Premier is the priority? This season we should be looking at staying up comfortably and if we can win a trophy which many other teams don't take seriously I think we should go for it...

I was at UCD v Sligo last night and the 2 teams were rubbish.

I saw Tony Cousins at the match too, I don't think I've ever seen a United manager going to look at other teams before!!

I'd love some silverware myself, I think we should be happy enough with where we will finish in the league once the nightmare fixture list which plagues the start of our season is complete. A win tonight will see us improve our positioning and ease some of the tension going around the city.
