    Yesterdays Programme

When I returned to my Dublin residence last night I took out the programme from the corresponding fixture last season, November 25th 2000 I think. I have to say that while I thought it was fairly good this years one was a big improvement. The previous one seemed to be overflowing with advertising and lacked colour. I really liked the colour pictures of the players yesterday.
The articles as usual were good.

    Keep it up lads.

    Peadar.

    Programme

Been away for a few days, so only spotted this thread now.

    1) Thanks for the kind comments on the programme.
    2) Dave & myself were actually both quite disappointed with the way the issue turned out. A lot of things were out of whack, parts of some articles were missing, some copies were poorly cut and some of the colour was off.
    3) We hope to have the wrinkles ironed out for Dundalk game though most of it was out of our control anyway
    4) The free tickets competition is a case in point: set on page 3, the heading and the email address both got 'lost'.
So, if anybody wants to reply by email send your answers to:
    gerrydesmond@hotmail.com

Apologies all round for these technical glitches!

Speaking of which there was a piece about Dave Moore and John Cotter, saying where they are now, but the Cotter bit was chopped off. So if you can remember Gerry, would you mind enlightening us?

I understand Junior is now at Garryduff where former City fullback Phil Long is manager. Most people know Dave Moore is at Waterford, but anybody got any news on Fergie? Also heard Greg is back training with the club...anybody confirm?

    Greg...

...Greg was outside the dressingroom after the Bohs game.
What a joy it would be if Greg came back and turned the team around with a few of the performances we know he can produce.

    Well

If he could repeat his knack of ousting the manager I'd welcome him back with open arms.

    Yeah, GREG BACK!
I really liked the way he annoyed everyone with his big head and ****ed off to his English mates every so often. I hope we sign him up, see him play some good games, and then listen to him whinge in the press about he's too good a player for City, before he ****es off again and we start all over again.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are some ****ing retarded goldfish on this site.

look i agree he has a lot of baggage, but in our current form, he's got to be a better option than the dead wood in the team/squad at the moment?

    chill out man, my god!

Lightbulb Greg or not to Greg

Can't see greg making any "comeback" as seems hes pi**ed off enough people at the club by now.

Remember Carey people? One of the finds of last season & something no one seems willing to give Gunther credit for?

BTW isn't bennet a fullback by trade too?
