if Cork won two and lost two how have they 9 points???

should it not be 6 points and galway/cork in semi depending on us winning our last game?

And how can Cork have lost 2 when Galway and Cobh have only won one between them?

I presume it should read Cork with 3 wins, one loss and 9 points.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.

Cork beat Cobh but on the EL site it said Cobh won. I only remembered to change the points and GD.

    BRAY V. SAINTS - A TEAM SHIELD

Maurice O'Driscoll's A-Team continue their Shield campaign this evening as they take on Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds.

With one win and a draw from their two game thus far, a draw or a win will see The Saints move to the top of Group 2.

The team will include several members of the victorious Saints' Youth Side that lifted the Ferrari Leinster Youth Cup on Sunday.

O'Driscoll tolds stpatsfc.com that the first teams injury crisis is also taking its toll on his side.

"We really are down to the bare bones and although some of the lads from the U17's and U18's have done fantastically well and are delighted to be involved, we have to be very careful not to burn them out.

"We could be up against it tonight as Bray will have a far more experienced team but with a bit of luck we can get a result."

Kick-Off in Bray is at 7.30 p.m. and all support is welcome.

Is that not wrong? A draw tonight and a win for Bray in the reverse fixture would see Bray go through I thought.

Bray's pace up front caused us a lot of problems in the first half but we played well in the second half.

Our team was made up of our U17's and U18's most of whom had played in (and won) the Ferrari Leinster Youth Cup on Sunday. In those circumstances I thought we did well.

Rhona reffed and was terrible (for both sides).

After Derek Foran's heroics on Friday and the five or six handballs that weren't given last night I'm beginning to think that there's some exception to the handball law in the Carlisle Grounds!!

Yeah, there were so many bad offsides given against us you could just tell that the linos weren't up to speed with the Bray strikers.

Bray's team had three, at least, players who have played first-team football this season and up front, Franco is on his way back from injury that's why he played last night.
