    re;

First half performance was the worst ive seen in a while, improved display in the second half should have won the game anyway, foley missed a great chance to win it at the end but saying that i taught he played well when he came on derek mc carthy really is struggling this season his performance tonight was very poor.Cobh should have had two players at least sent off the ref was inconsistent with his cards he seemed to want to avoid sending off any of there players at all costs.I hope limerick won't be fined the ref handed over a medium sized stone that was thrown i don't know was it at somebody or onto the pitch.Tonights line up was Healy, purcell, kerley, molan,o mahony, sugrue, sweeney, keating, heffernan,o flynn,mc carthy.Overall taught two points dropped disappointing.

Wouldn't agree totally with mainman, thought we bossed the game without any real end product for the first twenty minutes or before taking our foot off the pedal. Cobh's goal came against the run of play somewhat but extensive Limerick pressure in the last 25 inutes or so was unlucky not to yield more goals. Referee clearly didn't want to send anybody off - I think 7 yellows and Dave Hill was booked as well in the Queenstown Camp.

    Limerick's Team

John Healy - Had one of his moments with a high ball in the first half but didn't do badly apart from that. (6)

Stephen O'Mahony - Excellent throughout, combative and hard-working. Not afraid to push on as well. (8)

Conor Molan - Solid defensively, competed well and worked hard. (7)

Pat Purcell - His usual rock-like self. (8)

Mike Kerley - Proved that he's still well able to compete with a composed performance. (7)

Colm Heffernan - Looked excellent going forward again, back to his old tricks. Defensively he still looked a bit uncertain of what to do at times. (7)

James Sugrue - Lost his footing a couple of times but was busy throughout and put in a lot of running (7)

Eoin Keating - Quietly efficient in the middle and was credited with the goal in today's Star! (7)

Brendan Sweeney - Another tigerish display from Sweeney against his old club. Excellent. (8)

Stephen o'Flynn - Competed well and showed some good control and presence. (7)

Derek McCarthy - Missed a couple of good chances but also showed some exceptional close control at times. For all his problems this season he's still joint top scorer. (6)

    Subs:

    Ciarán Foley (for McCarthy)
    Shane O'Donoghue (for Sugrue)
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Apparently there were 9 yellow cards for Queenstown...

If Limerick get a fine they fully deserve it due to the lack of adequate stewarding. Our "stewards" spend each game at the bottom of the pitch kicking football, and ignoring the crowd.

    How smalltime is that?!?!?
