Other than that, I'd always have a good chat with any EL supporters I meet in the pub, abroad, etc
Pretty unfair assessment of us and tarnishing us all with the one brush.

Since a good few drogs work with me in Dundalk. So I suppose I do speak to them but the best thing is I converted my nephew last year to support Dundalk. He lives in Dundalk but his father is a native Drog so the wee fella was in a bit of a dilmenna but I showed him the light of the lilywhite cause. We are having great fun winding his father up this season and the Kiev 2-2 draw was just magic. Oh I'm still winding him up.

Other than that yeah I'd give a smile to a eloi supporter.

My sons were with their dad and uncle in Blacktie on Dorset St shopping for suits for their dads upcoming wedding at the weekend and my youngest lad was wearing a Monaghan United jersey. The lad working in the shop (whom my sons describe as a younger looking version of Steven Gerrard and was gutted they didnt get me his number) started slagging him and saying he hadnt been in Monaghan in years and that he was a bohs fan.

Its great to see that kinda camraderie and am sure that will make my sons even more determined to wear their colours with pride.

I tend to challenge them on their love for a foreign team and ask them do they come out to KCP knowing full well they dont coz I know pretty much every fan by name. Sad I know.

You make out that it's worse to support Chelsea then the others, I dont see why.

Ex girlfriend was a big Chelsea fan. She took me to this hardcore Chelsea pub and they were singing anti-Irish songs. Couldnt speak in there obviously.

basically what joey4ireland said. It's bad enough to support a foreign club over your own but to support a foreign club whos hardcore fanbase hates you is just ridiculous.

There was a Corkie with a shaved head playing on the astroturf out in UL last weekend. He was terrible. I think it was Darren Murphy in a skullcap.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Seen a lad sporting the home cork city jersey walking down grafton st. last week...gave him a long sentimental style stare, in the hope he would whip out the foot.ie shuffle. wasn't to be.

I always tend to look out for them alright.
I'm in Australia at the moment and spotted a guy in a Galway Utd jersey at the train station last weekend.
Was going to start talking to him but as I didnt have anythin to do with city on me, he might have found it a bit strange!

Rovers supporting bus driver gave me abuse yesterday after seeing my scarf. "Supersaints?!" I simply waved the scarf in response, and he muttered "Shamrock Rovers are better though." Walked down towards my seat, but not before saying "They're not in Europe though" - he didn't have an answer for that.
