    Michael Gault

Any opinions on Gaulty being drafted into the NI squad, this must be a first in Irish football three players from the same i l team to be picked in same squad,i must admit i think Gault is the most improved player on the island this year.Well done to the three players and also well done to Linfield for hanging on to such good players. It all spells for a bright future for the champions.

I think its great to see Waide and alot of aplause must go to David Jeffrey and the coaches at Linfield. Do think Paddy McCourt deserves a call up for the friendlies, especially as Stuart Elliott isnt getting a game with Doncaster at the moment. Hes been on fire this season and would promote the NI team in the LOI as well. But Gault was superb last week against Derry, and have no doubts he wont let anyone down for yous.

I have felt for a couple of seasons that N I could do a lot worse than give paddy McCout a run out in the green jersey, any time i have watched him either on the box or against the blues he is a very skilful and tricky player and can go past defenders as if they weren't there.

Delighted to see Gault get the nod - I think he is the best box to box midfielder on the island. No doubt I'll think of another after I've submitted this post.

Yep, that's who I thought of Gault has the added asset of being a quality central defender.

Gaulty has been exceptional all season and fully deserves the call-up!

It's not the first time. Lee Doherty, George Dunlop and Martin McGaughey all played against Israel in 1984. Jimmy Cleary of Glentoran also played in the same game.
