Where Babb and Breen at Sunderland together??
Look lads, I thought of Liam Daish. Youse didn't. I win foot.ie.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Gary Breen and Clive Delaney played alongside each other for West Ham('s reserves)
Have to say I find Palace's signing of Scott Dann a bit of a strange one. They have been keeping loads of clean sheets, Delaney & Gabbidon have formed a solid partnership, Paddy's fit again and they sign someone that has got relegated from the Premiership at least twice and is known to have an attitude.
Can't see Delaney losing his place but looks like I was jumping the gun about Paddy making the squad of 25. Hopefully they keep him around the squad for his leadership qualities.

Damien Delaney was The Evening Standard's Player of the Week.
He's practically having the afternoon off at The Emirates so far (half time) as Arsenal try to rack up a world record number of harmless passes 30 yards from goal.
Just booked.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Another clean sheet for Damo today, against Chelsea. Only 5 teams have better defensive records than Crystal Palace this season. They have by far the worst goalscoring record in the League so Delaney's contribution is a big reason why they'll (likely) remain in the League next season.
He should be starting for us in September imo.
He was so impressive in that friendly against Serbia when Trap had just started (his first game?) and was then cast aside. I was very disappointed at the time.
(I basically discovered him)

In the latest stats he is actually our second best player, he just leap-frogged, McCarthy (69th) to 68th place.
The People's Democratic Republic of Cork certainly seems to produce it's fair share of top quality players.
Should probably be two of Delaney/Dunne/O'Shea at the back in Autumn. The younger options have all looked shaky enough at times. Could still be room for Wilson or Clark at LB.
Wouldn't be averse to St Ledger featuring, depending on whether he gets his club career back on track.
Would like to see Duffy being groomed to start the 2016 campaign.
