But we'll have the three points.

Nah, really, I get your point, but we're strapped for cash, and while I'd love to have a beautiful pitch and a decent team, if I have to choose...

Typical corporate Ireland nonsense to try to turn unhappiness with the pitch into a licensing issue - the same kind of rubbish that gets Galway promoted without getting enough points and makes them a member of the 'big five'.
It's not what football, or sport, is all about though. Rovers do our best with the resources we have, and I'm proud of that. I'd love to see Faz, Rommy and Raf playing on a pitch like a carpet, but I'm far happier to see them continue to go out and give everything for the Bit o' Red.
Not quite sure what Dublin lite means ? Explain please .If you are refering to our location being close to Dublin then what on earth has that got to do with businessmen throwing cash our way .All our current directors are locals and 2 of them are born and bred Drogs .So whats your point ? As far as it being " Typical corporate Ireland nonsense " what are you on about . I made a comment about your pitch because its totally awful , and i wonderd wether or not its an issue with the powers that be . Our ground is a wreck but its one of the best pitches in the leauge which i consider more important than having a load of empty seats .

As cooky said, ye got beaten on a carpet of a pitch last week, and got a point on the terrible pitch on saturday, ye should shut yer mouths and start gradually making yer way down from the cloud ye're sittin on from last season, because ye're going to get an awful bang when ye realise yere not really that good

i have a suggestion re the pitch.

If noone is going to sponsor the whole relaying of the pitch, why don't we divide it up into 1 or 2 metres squared pieces and get people to sponsor a certain amount of it that way.

I have no idea how big the pitch is, but say it was 4000 mts2, sell it of at €50 per metre squared and get the money raised that way. If people wanted they could get donate more than €50 or whatever and we could give them a slice of the old pitch as a thank you.

    Thoughts?

Listen kid come back to me when you have something to say instead of typing nonsense .Your pitch is a disgrace , except that will ya and try and do something about it instead of being so defensive .We were poor and so were you and in the end a draw was a fair result i suppose .As far as being on a cloud your absoluetly correct , we had a wonderful season last year SETANTA cup winners , leauge title and some amazing european trips .Never thought id see the day as a drog . And we will see who is good come the end of the season ,weve only played 2 games you silly boy

I'm going to hold you to that. You're absolutely useless.
