Cat’s squander three-points
Kilkenny City 1-1 Monaghan United
When it looked easier to win, Kilkenny City somehow managed to let Monaghan United leave Buckley Park with a share of the spoils.
Trevor Vaughan put Monaghan ahead on 48-minutes but it took just 60-second for Damien Raggett to equalise.
Raggett along with Joe Watson spurned chances for the home side to take the lead and in the end Monaghan steadied the ship and were value for their point.
