They were talking bout the 3 pts thing last night on sky sports news and they showed Flynny's goal the other night and Miller's goal at the Cross class stuff
It's all just a bunch of Tree-Hugging hippy crap.

That was some terrible game tonight. I was actually kind of glad when Flynny was subbed as if he had scored again it would have been 3 goals in 3 international games and it would have become even harder for us to hold on to him and at least he came through all 3 games without any injury.

    Question I dunno

I dunno lads, maybe just me ... i know some of ye were there, but did anyone think that Barrett and Thornton not provide John with as much ball as they could/should have. I am talking about them holding the ball and being dispossessed when there were clear chances to pass to Flynny. Again ... maybe just me.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

dead right a face.. no-one seemed to want to pass the ball to flynny at all
they wudnt have been allowed get away with that kind of nonsense if the match was at the cross. pitch was terrible in kilkenny.. a total bog, with players slipping and the ball getting stuck in the mud consistently...

game was even poorer watching in real life and despite the attempts of the georgians to belt the ball into the crowd at 100mph in the pre-match warm up (they did whack some poor youngfella in the head with the ball..ouch) we all made it out ok....actually now i think of it that poor kid was hit very hard with the ball and i remember seeing the georgian keeper laughing at the kid (prob 10or so) in pain.. i thought he had been knocked out.. other prematch highlights.. joe making a fine punched save to divert the ball from my cup of tea.. when possibly he could have caught the ball.. nice one joseph.. oh an we got to slag some kids rovers fans.. they moved pretty soon after sitting down in front of 8 city fans.. intent on only cheering on flynny..and despite him being subbed after that muppet got sent off we stayed till the bitter end

**** match, ireland were v poor, georgia were ****, flynny is god

    Great post James.

What made it worse was I was flicking back and forth between the England U-21 game and it look so much better than Killkenny.

They could have at least cut the bloody grass!

There was one stage, I swear one of the Georgia players went to take a corner and got stung by the huge bunch of nettles growing out of the side of the adverising board - did anyone see it.

It's only when you see places like that that you appreciate The Cross and the excellent job they have done to the place and the pitch.

It's a disgrace we don't get more big games here.

Let's start a rant / petition to have the Cup Final played in Cork this year.................!

i'm a bit surprised buckley park is in such bad condition, the last time i saw it, the place was immaculate and the pitch in great nick. did it fall foul of the same weather that caused the u21 game to be moved from longford??

Any time there's a bit of rain, it happens. Kilkenny are always boasting about what a great surface it is, but it can't hold water
