Only if they face their A team. Don't eL teams enter in round 4 now, a round after the A teams?

The A League reserve teams are in the cup?

I thought so anyway. Could be well wrong. Unless it's only the A League non-reserve sides, and the eL sides enter in round 3.

Premier teams come in in the next round because there was an article on St. James Gate hoping to get Pats, Bohs or Rovers if they get through this round on loi.ie

    http://www.eircomloi.ie/other-compet...ures/index.xml

Would be a lot of teams entering at the quarter final stage if Pineapple was right!

EL teams enter in the third round (last 32) according to the fixture list at the start of the season. Tullamore and Salthill are in this round but Mervue aren't, did they enter in the first round?

The dates for the later rounds on BohsPartisan's link are wrong (2nd of December is a Tuesday for a start). I think they're a dates for those rounds last year.

Nine of the teams from the A Championship, intermediate and junior ranks who will join the 22 clubs from the Eircom League of Ireland Premier and First Divisions in the drum for the third round of the FAI Ford Cup are now known.

Liffeys won 2 nil, they out classed Crumlin from start to finish.
