Flood warning issued to Dublin households

A flood warning was issued to householders living along the Dublin city coastline tonight.

High tides are expected along the east coast tomorrow, with waters set to rise in the following days.

Council officials are meeting tonight to consider closing the Liffey Boardwalk tomorrow.

Sandbags are also due to be delivered to the Clontarf and Sandymount areas over the weekend

Tolka could be in for it again. At Least Dublin City Council are warning people this time.

Fingers crossed it won't be the worst.

Was just listening to the radio there (Newstalk) where a Met Eireann spokesman was keen to point out that it is Dublin City Corpo who have issued the flood warning -not Met Eireann.

Still -good that they're trying to get ahead of the game with sandbags and what have you.
