Agreed, not a step forward but good to see.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Thye have said they will include the LoI in their magazine from now on. Decent sized article compared to some ****** leagues. I'd be happy wit it.

I've been buying the magazine a long time and its been slipping in standards recently but it is good to see the Eircom League getting some attention, the way its been neglected in the past is near criminal, especially when you consider the attention that lower league Scottish Football gets

In fairness to them, it's an English magazine, and they have no obligation to cover Irish football. Always nice to see a bit of covreage though.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Well they don't aim for the Irish market (I realise they don't mind the sales). Wouldn't call them ignoring us as criminal

No offence Martinho, but that might well be the most pointless post of all time.
A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.

I often wondered why in the European review section, our league was never included.

Thought it was a bit pointless/cwap tbh. Nice to see and all but pretty empty. And I mean they did a similarly sized piece on us (L37) last season for all the good it did!
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Yes and the English football obsessed public/media who live for English football still haven't seemed to have picked up on the fact that its not the 'Premier League' and not the 'Premiership'.

Pedantic but it makes me laugh when I hear it on TV/radio.
