    I really enjoyed the show.

In terms of the First Division, if time and finances were infinite, I wouldn't mind seeing a round up of the goals, but we know they aren't.

So that leaves the choice as
    a) cutting back on the spend producing the Premier element to divert to proper footage of the First Division
    b) showing footage shot by some fella with a camcorder that belongs on Youtube as TV3 regularly used to do (slight hyperbole but not far off the mark, the quality was usually muck)
    c) not showing the First Division

Then c) wins for me. If the First Division clubs are willing to pay for camera work and editing to the standard employed by RTE then that changes the dynamic but we all know there is zero chance of this happening when clubs can barely scrape wages together.

I wouldn't expect commentators to be honest, Limerick wouldn't have facilities for them either, more one guy doing a voiceover of all the games ala Goals on Sunday

I know but RTE won't send their expensive cameras up a bit of scaffolding (and their unionised cameramen won't go up there either).

Derry finally saw sense and moved the camera out of the main stand and now faces it.
Only for live matches do they do that, a temporary gantry is erected on the jungle side. For MNS we will be filming from the stand for the time being. Reason being a scaffold gantry works out too expensive.

    What gantry?

Seriously though, we don't have a proper gantry at the moment, one is being built though and should be finished next week. Don't know what the set up will be like for this Saturday for the cameras.

Isn't that the live game tomorrow? Not feature match. Too slow, ya weren't quick enough at deleting

    Sligo won't be the feature.

One feature will be on referee Dave McKeon

That actually should be quite interesting if it's a feature following a referee around on his match night duties (before, during, and after the game)

    Referees are a necessary evil.

Lots of adjectives can be applied to refs - but never interesting

Unless you're a sad anorak referee yourself.

We should have had a sweep on how many shows it would have taken for Tom to get on screen.

24 minutes into show 2, well done my son.
