they will probably have about 10 minutes of the Cobh feature and include the highlights of the game immediately after it. thats what the BBC would normally do when they feature FA cup highlights of non league clubs in the early rounds.

i dont see why there is so much negativity about the show already when it hasnt been aired yet. never judge a book by its cover. i personally hate all things RTE because i think they are fairly mediocre when it comes to producing live shows. but im still gonna give this a chance until after i watch it. They say they spent �40,000 on building the set. so i think they are trying to make a decent effort.

gonna make my cup of tea now and settle meself into the couch to watch it now shortly

Good feature on Cobh - and the highlights they showed were pretty well put together.

Could have done with a couple of slo-mo replays of the goals and the offside decision

studio setup is something new though - i'll give them that - quite brave in trying something of a break from the norm

I thought it was all fat under Fenn's shirt but he did well to hold off your man for his goal.

I like the show so far. The lads seem a bit more knowledgable then the TV3 goons. Rico's been pretty quiet, for once.

Agreed - the highlight packages and intros are well put together - the analysis is pretty good.

A bright opening imo - let's see how the next 40 minutes pans out...

when talking about incidences in the game are they not going to show some replays??

Yeah they could definitely do with showing replays of incidents they are discussing.

I've always found that Con Murphy (at least when he's been doing Friday Sportsnight) is open to suggestions and such via email.

Always had a reply from them when putting a question to them - could be worth emailing the show / Sports Department

yeah the intros have been brilliant so far....Rico looks a bit out of place though...He doesn't know where to look...He keeps staring into the camera!

Apart from the Fenn interview delay, everything has been good....Hope they put as much effort in every week. Its easily 10 times better than eircom league weekly...
