You're forgetting that it's a night game - we can't have them wearing black if the sky is black, FFS

    Not only that but:

Drogheda V Cobh - Cobh's away strip is all blue with claret trimming, there could be an issue there.

    And....

St Pat's V Galway (isn't galway's away gear all white?? or will they just wear there home strip?)

Maybe he'll refuse to start the game until the sky changes colour.

    And....
Is it trimming or piping? Piping may be okay, trimming no.

And there is a risk of it being a Turquoise sky.

    Pats & Rovers both fined

    http://www.extratime.ie/newsdesk/articles/149/

St. Patrick’s Athletic fined €1,000 as a result of a colours clash v Sligo Rovers (07.03.08). The club was found to be in breach of Rule 13.3 of the Participation Agreement. Notwithstanding the finding of the Committee that Sligo Rovers were in breach of the rules by not bringing a second strip, the failure by the club to comply with the Referee’s instruction was clearly in breach of the Rules.

Sligo Rovers fined €1,000 as a result of a colours clash v St. Patrick’s Athletic (07.03.08). The club was found to have failed to bring a second strip as required. Notwithstanding the assertion by the club that the second strip would have clashed, the failure to bring this second strip was one of the factors which led to the situation that occurred.

so if we had brought our red kit which actually clashes with pat's kit we could have saved ourselves e1000? 1 of the 2 clubs is at fault, how can both be fined??

We were pigheaded - there's our fine

    Agreed.

In a seperate issue, we got fined €100 for throwing till rolls/toilet paper while Pat's only got fined €150 for throwing 2 bottles. Should be a lot more for bottles imo.

While Longford got no fine for till roll been thrown in their game Vs. Fingal. I know it's up to the ref to put it in his report but he did see it like.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

I saw 3 bottles. The 2 at Jennings after one of the goals and at Curran taking a throw

PLastic is cheaper, as are 350ml bottles compared to 500 ml. I think Green glass cst more than clear

think of all them this is the silliest, no one will get hurt and its not dangerous throwing them on before a game, it just adds to the colour and atmosphere and might help promote the league, god forbid

Is this genuinely how they do it?
Wonder what the extra charge is for a direct hit and an injury
