    This weeks attendances

Before the attendance thread starts have a guess at what crowds you'll get for the first game. What would you be happy with and what would be disappointing?

I'm gonna go with 4,500. Hopefully higher, but would be disappointed with anything under 4,000.

On another note, we're using the ticketmaster system this year so our attendances should be accurate(for once ). Anyone else using this?

Wexford would be expecting at least 1,500 I'd say. Really should be looking to hit the 2,000 mark like the first game last year. Anything less than 1,500 would be a disappointment in my view.

Between 3000 and 4500 for Harps probably 3500. Anything less than 3000 would be a bit of a disaster for the 1st game in our division.

Would agree with this, if we manage to beat Cobh and get a good result in Derry id expect at minimum 4000 for the second home game.
If the weather remains the same it might persuade some people to stay at home though

I'd hope at least 2000 for our game. I'd expect Dundalk to bring a few hundred and I'd imagine our excellent showing in pre-season and the associated buzz around the club will mean a big crowd

Think a lot of people are putting what they hope will happen rather than what they think will happen.

Look at the difference between Fintan and LeixlipRed's guesses as an example

    GUFC vs Bohs 1,800

    Higher ticket prices
    Second season syndrome
On the plus side, Bohs will bring a large crowd

With poor weather, a relatively unglamorous start (no offence to Cobh) and a pretty uninspiring pre season, I'd expect around 2000 at Finn Park tonight.
