    We dont?

Can you not read your own figures or something?

You have Cork at under 4,000 and Derry at 4,500!

We also have the biggest attendance this year.

Having sold over 2000 season tickets, I'd say we have a good start.

I have often wondered about that. Rovers always bring 300+ fans to Galway but they only get a relatively small home gate. It's bizarre.

A bit less than that I'd say. More like 1,700.
Drogs v Bohs - wasn't at the game myself but I was told a figure of around 2,500 would be about right.

I would say they would tbh considering we had the same home gates when we were fightinh relegation as we have now ,for some bizarre reason

Limited capacity surely responsible for a lot of it ?

Will United Park remain so restricted until you leave the place ? If so, it'll really clip Dogheda's wings - you'll have potential supporters drawn-in by the biggest games not being able to access you at all, and occassional ones not being able to increase their visits. All of which will impact your income now, and your support base in-future.

In fairness, there was more of them that that. I counted 27.

Both boosted because you've had Harps at home. You'll drop behind them after a few more games. You've only been higher than Cork once in five previous years we've done this thread.

Course you do. Never said otherwise. But you can't claim to be the best supported club on the basis of "3000 there last night, I'd say". There's plenty of guesstimates here that are way off, and shouldn't be compared. That's all.

Update after week nine. Clubs who give official figures are in bold.

    PREMIER DIVISION
    Bohs - 3,153 (2007 - 1,924; 2006 - 1,463; 2005 - 1,976; 2004 - 2,340) (missing Bray and Derry)
    Bray - 1,300 (1,200; 1,027; 1,550; 818 FD)
    Cobh - 1,548 (681 FD; 368 FD; 403 FD; 240 FD)
    Cork - 3,966 (2,897; 2,941; 3,644; 4,033)
    Derry - 4,080 (2,614; 3,229; 2,698; 1,672)

    Galway - 1,628 (2,199; 1,148 FD; 566 FD; 571 FD)

    Sligo - 2,260 (1,448; 1,806; 1,794 FD; 781 FD)
    UCD - 717 (663; 546; 653; 306 FD)

    FIRST DIVISION
    Athlone - 461 (670; 421; 316; 291)
    Dundalk - 1,800 (1,406; 1,078; 474; 591)
    Kildare - 201 (243; 265; 186; 298)
    Limerick - 616 (670; 364; 669; 188)
    Longford - 680 (885 PD; 681 PD; 1,004 PD; 1,131 PD)

    Overall average - 1,520 (1,235; 1,070; 1,195; 1,218)

FD is an average crowd in the First Division; PD is an average crowd in the Premier Division. I've only put that in where the attendances was when the club was in a different one to their current division.

    Recent games missing -
    Pat's v Cork

Estimates in but official figures missing -
    Bohs v Harps
    Harps v Pat's
    Pat's v Cork
    Pat's v Derry
    Fingal v Dundalk

it was wonder88( a galway fan who guesstimated 350-400)

you would want to give your own supporters a counting lesson

There were only 4 GUFC fans in Sligo according to the Sligo
section of foot.ie. Can we leave it a that?

PS Thanks for our 40% chunk of the gate receipts.

If it's the money you are most interested in - you better wish for another away draw in the next round
