Not far off 3000 at Finn Park tonight for that god awful excuse for a game, maybe 500 of which were Sligo fans.
Just went to have a look at that report and what a load of rubbish it is. Doesn't even mention the Longford goal, goes on to talk about Gavin Doyle having a shot in the 70th minute, us going down to 10 men 2 minutes later and then goes back to a sub Town made on 55 minutes![]()

1,283 in Terryland
We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
865 at Shels vs. Waterford, or something close to that. Shels fans may be able to remember the exact figure announced.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
Counted 92 at kick off (about 35 from Limerick) could have balooned to 100 by half time.
1,154 seems very high alright but I reckon about 850 myself, stand was about half full (450), about 250 on the open terrace with I reckon 150 behind the bottom goal.
''and I for one welcome our new insect overlords''
Stand was much less than half full. Back row (of about six) was cordoned off for half of it, and plenty of gaps down the end.
Terrace was largely empty up our end, but a decent clump down the far end.
Didn't really see it properly, but 150 behind the goal sounds way too high; that'd be fairly full.

Fridays just aren't working there was an honest opinion from fans and members of the club that Fridays would have increased the attendance but its appears to have had the opposite effect. I can't make most Fridays but thought that I would be able to at the start of the season and I know four other fans who are the same.
Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer.
Now I know this is going to sound sad, but I was up at Ferrycarrig Park today 'cos Oldyouth Junior had booked one of the all weather pitches to have a kick about with some friends. While waiting on him to finish, I took a ramble around the ground and ended up counting the seats in the temporary stand
To cut a boring story short, there are 609 seats in the stand. Given that most were taken last night, added to the lads who will always man the edge of the pitch and the prawn sandwich/duck liver pate brigade in the clubhouse (you must buy a ticket to gain access), maybe 624 is underestimated![]()
