I thought the covered area held 860 (at least that was the capacity of the stand before renovation).
I think there was slightly more Drogs' fans there- covered area was split even and they had a bit more on the outside.

I don't, of course. But there were 130 who took up the offer, so I'm allowing for some Drogs in there too. I've noticed a lot more students going to games this season, most of whom seem to be supporting the home team. It doesn't affect my initial point about the general home/away split as per the signs in the ground and as noticed when the goals went in.
Worth noting that during the week, Drogheda were struggling to get a bus to the game, but now they rckon 400 travelled.

As well as a lot more people in the proper club scarves I'm seeing a fair few UCD students in the official UCD scarf that's given out free at the inaugurations every year. It is very hard to quantify who the free entry UCD students came to support though. We went from 10 or 20 free UCD students from the Sligo game to 124 in the Drogs game. While I imagine the increase had something to do with some Drogs fans taking up the offer there can't have been 100 Drogheda supporting UCD students there.
In fairness, they clearly brought hundreds to the game.Worth noting that during the week, Drogheda were struggling to get a bus to the game, but now they rckon 400 travelled.
Haven't denied that. Just saying that they were struggling for numbers initially, but are now talking about 400+?
I hear there was under 100 at the Mons V Youths game, a little worrying
The club ran 3 buses. They wouldn't usually have that many going to UCD, which kinda hints that the people that usually get the bus from the pub got the club buses instead - probably because they're better buses and the fare is usally cheaper. Most of our support would drive to Dublin games anyway.
Stu, you're not always right.
The split was about 360 each!. This is taken from rough figures taken by the lads selling tickets. According to the official gate there was about 15 Drogheda supporting UCD Students (I am currently studying CCTV footage in order to ensure these traitors are given the sound thrashing they deserve
We can argue all day about the actual definitive figure but I think the figures above are the most acurate we can get without actually asking everyone that was there!
I hope all this bitching between drogs and ucd fans hasn`t held up the weekly attendance table stu !
Can we move on please from this
