CPOs working too hard to be on the internet that regularly?
In fairness, we're up to half the clubs in the league now, so it's not as bad as "only a few". But most of the Premier don't bother, which is strange alright.
As far as I know there are only a few clubs releasing official attendances this year (us included). Would have thought that more clubs would have done this in year 2 of the new regime. Wonder why they dont? Anyone any (non libelous) ideas?

RIP JOHNNY
I seem to recall seeing some story about how Galway were increasing their planned expenditure this season. If I remember right, there were quotes from Leeson too, so it wasn't mere rumour. It's early days to be panicking over attendances, but they might struggle with the wage cap if income is under budget.
You can't spell failure without FAI
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html
It's a bigger stand than you think. Everyone's in the middle two sections too 'cos the ones at either end are uncovered. Just watched it there and the first thing you see is an empty quarter of a stand.
Update after week four. Clubs who give official figures are in bold.
PREMIER DIVISION

FD is an average crowd in the First Division; PD is an average crowd in the Premier Division. I've only put that in where the attendances was when the club was in a different one to their current division.
Recent games missing -
St Pat's v Galway
Monaghan v Shels
I see Cobh's average has gone from 900 to 2,450 in a week!!
Actually I'd like to see them do well and hopefully a few of the locals will have gotten the buzz back after Saturdays' game and will continue to come out and support them.
All Sligo's attendances are on that basis, for example, with differences of up to 1000 for games.
You may as well ignore all posts on this thread so. And indeed, all official figures too. Sure there's only one club saying that without anything to back it up.And actually no it's not more official than that, it's the same thing because it's still just one person saying how many's there without anything to back it up.
Just watch the Cork City average plumet after next Friday.
wexford youths attendances were 2300 v waterford and 1345 vkildare county.we also had 600 v cobh in eircom league cup.![]()
