Anyone know what the best guesss is for the total crowds for week 1 and week 2.
For example week 2 we had abt 6500 at brandywell and abt 3800 in dalymount and tolka.
It would be good to keep an eye on the rough total and see if it grows during the season.
Update after week two. Clubs who give official figures are in bold.

I agree. 2 of the lads at work said it was "very impressive" and they watched MSN last night and were saying very positive things about the LOI this morning. Both Liverpool "supporters" CURRENTLY... I am hearing this "see the Bohs match last night"..."I thought the goals in the Drogheda v ________ were sweet on RTE the other night..." kind of thing from people who didn;t know we had a league a few years back more and more.
The tide is turning. It really is.
I wouldn't get too excited yet. It is improving though.
I must admit that I was pretty p!ssed off at first that the Derry - Harps game wasn't shown live but, I doubt if the same numbers would have attended the game had it been on telly (especially given the night that was in it).
Alot of people up here are talking more and more about Harps, eircom league, etc. I reckon there will be a fairly sizable crowd in Finn Park on friday night for the UCD game now, hopefully the game will be a good one and entice more and more people to come out.
Pack them in I say, but lets not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
Hows about that, optimism and pessimism all in one paragraph :P

I would of thought the 450 for the Kildare Shels game was about right. There were very few gaps around the pitch and a big enough group behind one of the goals.
John Delaney!! GET OUT!!!

To be quite honest i have been going to dalyer since i was a nipper and in my humble opinion Faheys goal on friday was up there in the top five goals that i have ever witnessed there.
I had a few people saying nice things in work about the league and with a couple of years of this MNS programme i think the league can really kick on
Cork City v Drogs (Setanta Cup) 2,480 from match report on official site. A little more than I expected.
