now there is a real derby match, pity other matches around the country cannot pull the same crowds.

Yeah that would be fair enough figure then so. There was very little standing room.

What is point paying into a match and staying in the pub ?

As you said yourself, they watched it from the away terrace/area outside the bar. Disappointing crowd I thought.

    Cork V Rovers attendance anyone?

I wish th same could be said about this game (great advert for the league). Schooligans at it again last night outside Fagans aparently. Both Rovers a Cork kids as bad as each other so not blaming either side.

    A shame really!

Sure the main stand (roadside one) was 80% full, about 100 in the stand opposite and 250-300 in the new goal end one.

Some muppet let off a few smoke bombs at the start in the Cork end, could breathe or see anything.

Though i thought the bangers were class

Wouldn't have given you the 50, but I'd agree with you more or less on that.

Decent game, with us playing some very nice football at times. Bray were awful.

Its a pity RTE would not go further North than Swords as the Harps Derry derby really is a great advertisement for the league. Would have been better than Bohs/Pats last night.

Apparently the Star today, put the crowd at 800, i have to assume they left out a zero.

No, that sounds about right for guesses in the Star. They reckoned 1500 for our game against youz last week. I think they use a random number generator and put "00" after it.

Only 150-200 City fans so unless the remainder of the stand full be surprised if 80% full. Impossible to guess the total when inside the stand anyway. I think Rovers do official attendances?

I counted at the start of the match and got just about 300. Defo not as much as 450 even though it did look like a big crowd.

555 at Limerick, with that type of round figure you'd swear we were Galway

    Blues v Longford Town

760 official attendance at the RSC last night according to a post from a local journalist on btid forum. I wasn't at the game myself so can't guess.
