I counted 97 people at Monaghan v Kildare tonight.
2,600 at Derry V UCD
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html
very poor performance from bray in front of a decent crowd. I would say prob about 1500 at it, 900 in the tent, 350 in the red stand(mostly cork fans) and another 250 behind the goal.
680 watched a very EVEN game at Ferrycarrig Park. Dundalk were good in the 1st half and EVEN better in the 2nd.
Speaking of numbers, I estimate approx slumbering 600 cats in the Wexford area got a right kick in the hole when their dissapointed owners got home from the match
1639 at Rovers v Drogs, includin 493 Drogheda fans.
Poor crowd for Cobh - Harps id say 700 with a massive 15 of those from Harps![]()
I'd say there was about 2100 at sligo rovers vs st pats
Poor crowd for two of the bigger teams in the league.
But I'm not sure where you get this idea that Drogheda vs Shamrock Rovers (or indeed any Dublin club) is a derby....?Their derby is Dundalk, so they won't care half as much for games against Dub teams (ditto for Rovers and non-Dub teams).
Athlone Town vs Shelbourne yesterday official attendance was 581 with ove half of that from Shelbourne.
Bad day and time for a match with one of the local junior clubs playing a cup final and going for the CCFL treble along with GAA match between Athlone and St Lomans Mullingar being played. All kicked off at 3pm. Most of our support would come from the area where the cup final was being played.
Update ahead of the midweek games. Clubs who give official figures are in bold.

Estimates in but official figures missing -
Bohs v Harps
Harps v Pat's
Fingal v Dundalk
Recent games missing -
Longford v Limerick
Didn't hear an official attendance for tonight's GUFC v Cobh game, but I would hazard a guess about 800 max including a dozen Cobh fans.
We're still each others closest neighbours though, and it's the fixture most fans look for first when the list comes out.

Since when was the definition of a derby determined by tarmac......?
Distillery spent decades closer to Windsor Park than the Oval is, and Donegal Celtic's ground is probably closer these days. Does that mean the whole Linfield-Glens derby thing is off now......?
Derby's tend to be your nearest team (though in cities with multiple teams, different factors obviously come into play). Hence Drogheda's derby is Dundalk, not Dublin sides. Being from the same county also adds an additional edge to derbies - even if Drogheda sprawls closer to Dublin than Dundalk, it'l all be about who's the best in Louth. If Coleraine were in the same league as City and Harps, the whole Derry-Harps derby thing would decline a lot in importance.
