There were some gob****es behind the goal at the time but its hard to point the finger when you dont see it happening.

Spot on the roads is too dangerous to have any entrances and only on health and safety grounds were we allowed to have an exit gate there.
On Eamons point that is a private estat so not a hope of the residents agreeing to that.
We are severly restricted by Plannin Conditions etc. with regard to Turnstiles so we have to make the best use of what we have.We only have one machine for the season tickets at the moment so unfortunately people will have to walk that little bit further.

people at terryland are eason ticket holders we have to listen to them and work to keep them happy. One man suffers from a disability and it wasnt funny for his son and wife having to traipse the whole way around the far side. There has to be a better way they are way more important than bohs fans who we wont see again for months some maybe never. Also ST gate was left with no person outside directing people and had to contend with season ticket holders and people who bought match tickets on the night. These new tickets have to be ripped apart and all this takes time leaving ST holders queing again this year. When will we learn. Also why do former players,current players and their parents expect to walk in for free with their friends every season.
Geezer you have hit the nail on the head with this one. The first thing in business (which is what United is now) is that the customer is always right. As we all know we irish tend not to complain about poor service. Its human nature to talk to others more about a bad experience than we will a good one. My complaint regarding access for ST holders is regarded as moaning by the Event Controller. I was only one person who made my complaint (via this forum) gods knows how many others left with a sour taste and will talk about it to others and not return to Terryland.
Regarding when will we learn I dont think we ever will as the attitude of certain individuals leaves alot to be desired. We went through the same thing last season. Maybe with the clubs proactive CPO these kind of issues will be dealt with in a business like manner and not be dismissed as moaning.

I don't mind the longer walk myself but I did hear some people moaning about season ticket holders having to traipse all the way around to the far corner. Also heard ST holders moaning as they stood in the queue waiting to go in. When I arrived a fair old queue had built up as there was only one zapper inside to zap the tickets.
Not things that bothered me particularly but if there's one bunch of people that have to be listened to it's the ST holders.
The new season ticket entrance is located beside the new stand, where
season ticket holders have exclusive access to. This seems a logical move to me.
If the "old stand" entrance was open to season ticket holders, they would still have
to walk over to their seats in the new stand.
I can't understand the negative reaction of some supporters to what is a perfectly
logical and practical move.

Back to the match itself:
It was a very disappointing result as I think there are far better sides than Bohs to come here yet. But they got the 3 points so that ends all arguments.
I thought Marc Mc Culloch was the one bright light on the horizon, and he was reminiscent of Quirkey with his work rate and distribution.
I don’t expect much agreement (and I know its goals that count for strikers) but I thought Mark Leech did okay too. He won nearly everything in the air against two bigger men in Burns & Oman, but the distribution from out wide to himself and Glynn was non-existent. Lot of people around me were saying we need O’Flynn back, or that we missed him. I don’t know. He missed an awful lot of last season so we need to learn to do damage up front without him.

didn't make it up myself but i have to say anyone i spoke to over the last few days who were up there were far from impressed. very bad football and lack of commitment were the main gripes. as i wasn't there i won't go on too much but didn't speak to anyone who had much good to say.
we got 3,500 up for first game last season and less than the average for last season on friday! maybe it was the weather....
if we have aspirations of finishing in the top 4 or 6 this season then we really need to be getting something from our home games - regardless of the opposition. just because Bohs spent a few bob during the winter and have aspirations of pushing for the title doesn't mean we can just accept defeat as par for the course. Cork, Derry, Drogs, Pats all also have title hopes but if we want to be the team finishing between or immediately after that quintet (and ahead of one of them or else Shamrock Rovers) then we need to pick up something when they visit.
If season ticket holders have any comments or complaints to make about
matchday arrangements, they should contact the club at (091) 767336.
Likewise, if you are a volunteer with club and have a suggestion as to how we can make improvements,
or have knowledge of complaints from the public, speak directly to the club official with responsibility
in that particular area.
I must say now I know the new entrance this suits me down to the ground as I now know I can park up the far end and skidaddle home after the game is over and with a bit of luck beat the traffic , ohhh happy days
Don't see any problem having the ST entrance at the end of the car park. Seems perfectly normal and reasonable. It also reduces the pressure on the previous single entrance. If you go to any major sports stadium you normally end up having to walk around the sides of the stadium to gain access to your permitted area.
On the football side, McCullock looks a good signing and Deggan looks ok. Lester and Deegan are too similar though and should not both play in the middle together, no creativity produced at all.
O'Shea and Leech were pretty ineffective, but after one game they will probably need a bit more time to settle in fully.
Out of all the stikers on both sides last Friday, Glynn looked the part.

Oh indeed. Not casting doubt on whether Bohs were lucky or not for obvious reasons; just pointing out that gufct was making stuff up in his post.
glynn looked got with his feet and always looked like he was going to do something, the long ball to him was terrible, hes not exactly tall so a bit of cop on wouldnt have harmful. Garys clearences were terrible though.
