    We are Rams !!!

Whatever the season ahead has to offer, lets get one thing clear. Lets face it , we are the favourites of the bookies, other EL Fans etc to go down.

We all have a massive part to play in this scenario.

We will survive if we do the following. Are ye up for it.? ARE YE UP FOR IT?

    1. We have to do well at home. The team will, and have responded to home matches, when the crowd have backed them to the hilt. We have to back them to the last even if we are being outplayed and 1-0 down, a draw and its another point ganed towards staying up....1-1 and looking dodgy, make sure the last 15 is the hardest 15 min for any away tean coming into Cobh,If we can get it to 2-1 great stuff...make it fortress Cobh. no one leaves without remembering Cobh Ramblers and their fans.
    2. We will need everyone pulling in the same direction Forgot about past differences, AGM, etc We need to be all pulling together towards ensuring Cobh Ramblers are still here this time next. Its either this or bust...
    3. We need new people who have the Club at heart to really get behind the team There are plenty members posting here who have fabulous ideas as to how to move the Club forward. Dont be afraid to get involved and help out.If you are committed and persistant your ideas will move this club to a new level.
4.We have to back the manager and his team Its a long season. I could see us doing a 1998 on it when we lost almost every game for first half of season but almost won every game for last half only to go down by a few points. Remember point 1 Those extra points could be so vital after 33 games. Back the manager and team even if we get a bad run of results. Remember they need you as much as you need them...and if you support them in the dark hours, you will all be legends if we succeed....
    5. Above all, enjoy the season Remember we are a part time side in a professional league. We might not be here again for another 10 years. Lets get behind the team every game of the 33 and Don't be too critical if we dont do it on the day. Remember, the team will be more dissappointed then you or me if we dont get the result on the day. After all its them who are out in all weather and conditions to try and make sure Cobh Ramblers is a household name in Cobh, Cork Dublin etc.... It up to u how far we go...lets make the trip memorable...

Well said. One more point could be added though:

Follow the team around the country. Last seasons away attendences were pitiful this year do your best to hop in the car and drive to the game like every other premier divisions fans do. Fans make the difference.
    LESS OF THE BULL NOW!

Agree 100%. It means a lot to the team and while sometimes they might be hard to get to especially any Fri night fixtures up the country, we should all try and get to them if possible.
