Photo Thread

I've been sent some fantastic pictures over the years and so thought this might be a place to share them. I love my photography and I'm looking to get a real photographers camera this year if anybody has any advice?.

Anyhow here's a place to host some of the best pictures taken. I've uploaded one I took in the Derbyshire Dales recently.

This is one I like from a venture into the Italian Alps.

I'm sure it was my work camera so not great but I still love it.

Most of my ones, most of my favourite ones anyway, are on film though so until I bother to dust off the digital camera that's all from me :-)

So do I. Those are the kinda pictures I want to be able to take. I'll get more up at some stage.

Jebus I love the one you took of the terracing with the sunlight. That for me is capturing exactly what you saw and thats how I want my pictures to be. What ground is it at? Really captured me that picture.

It's at Jackman Park in Limerick, have a few taken from there with other fans, I'm not really interested in what goes on the field to be honest

My advice for you if you're thinking of getting a digital SLR next year would be to not get at all reliant on photoshop or even cropping your images yet. Better to just frame it right in the camera because you can get too lazy if you work off altered images too much. As for brands, do some research online, there's not much difference between Canon and Nikon but other brands are just as good as well. But do look up models and their reviews after you look around.

The image in the OP is very good by the way
