I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

It wasnt that long ago that he was moaning that Miller wasnt in the Irish squad...and now he goes and tries to get rid of him. If he's good enough for Ireland he's definitely good enough for Sundireland.

    Another one for Cork City.

This is effectively the end of his International career.

nah, i'd say that he's just realised what the rest of us knew already that Miller's absolute muck.

would be a good EL signing though. i'd say one of the top clubs should make an audacious loan bid and see what happens. Can't see him being picked up by a Prem club or even a top championship club...

But why not transfer list him in January like the group of other players Keane transfer listed? Of what I've seen of Miller this season I think he's done alright for Sunderland. He hasn't been speactular by any means but neither has Sunderland. I think he's good enough for a Premiership club like Sunderland so I don't believe he's been transfer-listed on purely sporting grounds.

He looked like he was doing okay from the few Sunderland games I've seen this season. Sunderland really do have a lot of deadwood in their squad. Perhaps the signing of Andy Reid has made him dispensible. That or perhaps Miller asked to be put on the transfer list as he wasn't getting enough game time.
My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method, is love. I love you Sheriff Truman.

Yeah i'd say the Andy Reid signing was the final nail in the coffin. Miller just gives away the ball far too much at this level and if I had the choice between Miller and Reid I know who I'd pick (Hint: it wouldn't be Miller)

He was very inconsistent for Celtic and never nailed down a first team spot and he was 23 or 24 when he left. There's no guarantee he'd have made it in Glasgow.

Keane placed Murphy on the transfer list before Xmas and Murphy started playing very well and actually scored 2 goals. Perhaps he is trying to get the same response from Miller. It does seem strange although nothing would surprise you with Keane style of management. No consistency whatsoever, chops and changes the team, more comings and goings than Connolly Station.

from man u to obscurity in a few years and he's what age? 27? how the mighty have fallen. i actually remarked to a mate that i thought he was really quite good against brazil and sure he has had some good performances for sunderland this year also.

there must be something else to this story. he is good enough for the championship alright but no prem club would touch him.

roy keane has made a lot of mistakes in the transfer market but at least he admits this by trying to move on players that he believes are not trying or are not good enough [mcshane and stokes better improve and bloody quick]

Tell me your joking that you think he wouldn't get near the Cork midfield... We've seen how past Cork stars have got on in England. You must be deluded?
