I thought we'd let him go half way through last season but i could be wrong. He's a hard worker, he'll chase every ball down. Not much of a goal scorer though, bit of a target man and nothing else.
believe lads we signed darren mckenna from ye lads! what do you think of him?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

The one who played for us at the start of last season ???
He was let go last season. If he wasn't up to Shels last year I doubt he'll do much at Bohs. You sure it's the same guy ?

right !
I am mixing this up with a Bohs post I was looking at yesterday.
did Bohs sign someone from shels youths yesterday or am I going insane.
Well longford fans.
I don't think he'll do much in this division to be honest but he's ok.

Sounds like another David Lee to be honest: big, useless, ex-Mons and Shels.
He's not as slow as Lee I dont think. Which isnt saying much admittedly. He was the lad who hit the post on Saturday against UCD. Ah sure we'll have to give him a chance.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Darren played for our promotion winning team and in the premier. Although tall he is not particularly good in the air and does not play well as a target man. However, he is very fast and has good dribbling skills. On the other hand, his finishing is poor - I think it's a confidence thing. When he played for us he was like a cross between Maradona and Adi Akinbiyi - he'd beat 3 players, be one-on-one with the 'keeper and blast it over.
I remember it now - go on Darren, go on Darren, GO ON DARREN, ooooohhhh....
never seemed to be fully fit with Shels, not great! and for a tall man was no good in the air.
Darren Mc was a good play imo. thought he was super in the air.good target man. i thought we missed him in the second half of the season
Seems he has a bit about him. With just 35 weeks to go, he's hanging in there as the First Division's top scorer...
He also scored for shels in the first game of last season.
but went another 10 without a goal

Still the country's leading scorer with 4!!
Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
