Just wondering can anyone help me with directions from Limerick to Monaghans ground for the opening League game against Monaghan next friday?

Give yourself at least 4 hours, midlands can be a pain in the hole on Friday afternoon at times, there should be a few of us misbehaving in the town beforehand so give one of us a call for directions, basically its the last or second last right turn before the little (magic) roundabout that welcomes you to town. You'll see the ground on the left as soon as you make the turn.

Not much good giving him directions from a point after where he needs to make the turn! Coming from Clones (as I presume you will), go through Smithboro', past my Mam's house and it's the right turn immediately after the Kingspan Century factory complex.

If the midlands is that bad on a Friday you might want to think about going via Dublin (M50 - M1 - Ardee/Derry turnoff - N2 -Monaghan) - there isn't a traffic light between Dublin and Monaghan. 1hr 30 minutes max from M1/M50 junction to Kingspan Century Park.

(Then again through the midlands is probably still quicker when I think about it)
