At the Pike Field, Limerick face Sligo Rovers with most of the attention on off the field issues after the club admitted that it faces going out of business in the near future.
Limerick manager Mike Kerley admitted that it was distracting but his players would still be focused on the game.
"It's distracting and of course we are all wondering what's going to happen but we still have a job to do and once the game starts everyone will be concentrating on winning the game," he said.
"Hopefully the weather improves and we can get a big crowd out for the game."
On the injury front, Kerley must plan without Eoin Keating who is struggling with a back injury meaning John Whyte is likely to come into the starting XI.
For Sligo Rovers, goalkeeper Mark Cobey is likely to make his debut in goal after signing for the club last week following the news that regular goalkeeper Ciaran Kelly picked up an injury on holidays while Gareth Gorman (knee) and Mike Keane (cruciate ligament) are also out of the game.

Bad news in regards Keating. Can't say I'm shedding any tears about the Shligo Bhoys.![]()
