ya but its the dry suit-jetski most dangerous stuff where they have to be brought out, especially that one in moher someone is going to get hit big style into those rocks and die. The sister was mad into it before she left for bermuda. its getting bigger and bigger like cornwall in england. Pity we didnt have slightly better weather in the summer. Is it true there is a surfer bar in bundoran?! australian themed?
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
yea eirebhoy that's it. you don't literally tow into bombs. you tow into "bombs"! strangeirish - i think if anyone tried to paddle for those waves they might've been killed. one of the donegal surfers richie (last name escapes me) said he got buried by a big one and missed a shelf of rock by a few feet - bit of an eye-opener for him!

paul not sure about the bundoran bar, wouldn't surprise me though. you're right about aileen's (moher), it's very dangerous, to surf and to access so it's difficult to rescue anyone there. i don't think anyone's seen that particular spot close to its biggest size yet either.

two surfers - one from portrush, one from cornwall - got nominated for billabong's annual prizes, including biggest wave and best ride:
http://www.surfersvillage.com/surfing/32684/news.htm
"This is the first time a UK or Irish surfer has gained entry into the premiere ‘Ride of the Year’ category, in which the winner takes home a $50 000 paycheque. This category rewards the technical ability and critical approach of the surfer, as well the size of the wave ridden.
They are also in contention for the $15 000 prize for ‘Biggest Wave’ category, where a panel of surf industry experts gauge the sheer vertical height of the biggest waves ridden. Alistair Mennie, who rode a 55- 60 foot wave, the biggest ever recorded in the British Isles at Mullaghmore, is hoping that a little Irish luck may continue to prevail for them when they fly out to Anaheim, California for the awards ceremony at the event’s conclusion."
yeahoooo well done fellas.![]()
