reading some of the threads on these forums is like wading through treacle.
anyways.... in answer to the question posed at the beginning of the thread.
Rovers last had a display for the home game with drogs.
a hockey load of flares.along with normal flags,tickertape etc was used.
Rovers got fined the sum total of €100 .
since there was approx. 750 german fans at the game,and the income generated would cover the impending fine the club were happy to have a display with flares.

Problem is the fines are not consistent though. If the FAI only fined clubs 100 euro for a load of flares etc. then that wouldn't be too bad but they don't.
