Easy to see where Bohs are tripping up this season when they don't even have anyone alongside Crowe on 3 goals. Suppose city would be the same if John O'Flynn off form for more than a couple of games.

For a guyt who doesn't look like he'd score many goals in a season theres only 3 players who have scored more than george O'Callaghan.

I think the same kind of thing could be said for George, he's been doing really well at City since Dolan arrived.

Bird's playing superbly for Pats and much better than last season when he was played on the wing.

Yeah Crowe has been dissapointing for Bohs but I've no doubts he'll come good but IMHO Jason Byrne is the best of the lot

I'd have to agree with that...

Jason Byrne - the Tallaght maggot - wouldn't be up to cleaning the boots of John 0'Flynn.

    Flynny
    then Crowe
    then Byrne

How that old man Bird even gets his game in the eL is amazing

    Top Scorers

    9 John O'Flynn (Cork City)

    7 Jason Byrne (Shels)

    6 Tony Bird (S Pats)
Obviously shouldn't be getting his game - 3 goals difference prove that....

    LOL

Tony Bird: "Pat Dolan was very wrong when he played me out of position. Eamonn was the man that brought me here and he's the one that knew my strengths. But it was not his final decision where I play when Pat was here"

    AMEN.

Birdy for top scorer this season. The mans unstoppable easily Niall Quinns favourite EL player as stated in the Irish Independent

9/10 former Irish internationals prefer Birdy.

    Thumbs up

Don't know how anyone can pick Jason Byrne ahead of O'Flynn.

O'Flynn has scored 9 goals in 10 league games, add a few league cup goals & 2 u-21 goals in 3 games.

Byrne is something like 25 years old as opposed to O'Flyyn who still 21.

So you are saying you would prefer have Bird, than Flynn? 9 goals in 11 league games sounds ok to me. 15 league goals (around) last season in his first season sounds alright as well to me. the fact that his record with the Irish U21s is 2 goals, 4 games (even though his second is wiped due to FAI ignorance and stupidity).

Tell all the Bohs (and pats) you know,
John O Flynn is better than Crowe!

Have to agree Flynn is only young though and still has alot to learn. if cork hold on to him he will be a real star in the eircom league. i dont think he is better than crowe now but he will be. And byrne is just oozing with class. theres not many players in the LOI that can score that many goals for such a s**t time like bray. No offence bray supporters its just were so much better than ye are i know it hurts but truth hurts.

One thing we've missed in Derry in recent Seasons a challenger for the Top Scorer title, although that is the least of our worries!

I expect Beckett to move up a place or two now though.
I'd rather die laughing than trying!
