I'm not suggesting that at all. What I'm suggesting is that U-15's get free season tickets or for a stupid nominal free like a tenner.

    Over 16's, pay student prices.€105

He's payed his money, he's happy. I'm just questioning the logic of pricing other 13 year old kids out of season tickets.
there is actually no point in getting dragged back into this, seriously.

in fairness i know alot of people between 14+15 that go to the rovers ganes every other week, they paid something last season i dont know what it was, so to suggest that under 15s go free is stupid but i know where your coming from, u12s, yes with a paying adult should probably be free. although realisticaly unless there given the tickets at their school during the week they probably wont turn up because they wont even know its on

Feo, I picked 15 'cause that's the clubs current cut-off point for kids.

im not pickin on you like the other lads i was just stating that i think 15 would be too old to go free as theres a steady amount of them that pay in anyway, but as i said i wouldnt have a problem with under 12's going free or something

I labelled your post as being pathetic, trying to drag me back into a pointless arguement when i clearly stated i wasn't going to bother wasting my time arguing with you. If you can't understand that than you are also pathetic.I don't feel the need to back myself up against you tbh. goodbye.

Sorry but what? How can somebody possibly think of an idea to give complimentary free season tickets to U-15's, when we're up sh*t creek financially?

    I mean, what?!

there are alot of people from about the age of 13-16 coming to the showgrounds now. im sure many of you seen it last night there was alot of youngsters in the ground, all of them may not have an intrerest in the game but its good to see so many of them coming in, and its more money too

Have been bringing my now three and a half year old to the showgrounds last season and for about half the previous one, and normally pay €5 for him. I see this €5 as a small contribution to the club. Having been involved in youths teams for a number of years, most 13 year olds would have €20 going to the chipper after matches. Any trip to the cinema or a swimming pool will cost money so I'm not sure I would agree with letting them into the Showgrounds for nothing.

Which IMO makes Brewers idea, even more non-sensical.

How many of those kids who were running around the place were supervised?

If a child is accompanied by a paying adult, let them in.
If a child isn't, let them stump up €5.

It would hopefully be subsidised by more paying adults and more food bought in the Showgrounds etc.

So what happened to your season tickets in that case? Bit harsh making a kid who may have parents with no interest in Rovers have to pay a fier.

I don't care less if their supervised or not. It's all money at the end of the day. Let them run riot after they've paid in.
