Good picture in the paper of 5/6 French players standing around Henry all pointing to the sky...

Is it France and Cameroon in the final?

    Should be an emotional affair...

Terrible news. Hes a great loss to the game. Seemed like a proper gentleman.

I think that they should name the confederations cup after him. I think that Blatter has already suggested this. It's a good idea.

Where did you hear that? The papers are saying that all they can say for sure is that it wasn't a stroke.

i don't really understand how it could happen without a challenge though, we're the paramedics on the scene fast enough?
There's some things where it doesn't matter how quick you are on the scene, you don't have a chance of saving a person - I think 1 in 10 heart attacks are unavoidably fatal.

Rigobert Song is quoted as saying his last words before leaving the dressing room for to start the second half were "Boys, even if it means dying on the pitch, we must win this semi-final"...

I was actually watching the game when it happened, went away for a bit and came back 2 hours later to hear it. Awful thing to happen. Glad to see sepp blatter got the abuse he deserved last night at the final BTW.
