Absolutly shocking news, really terrable.
Heres the chronology of it according to FIFA
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
Terrible news. Hes a great loss to the game. Seemed like a proper gentleman.
I think that they should name the confederations cup after him. I think that Blatter has already suggested this. It's a good idea.
its such a sad thing to happen. i couldn believe it when i heard on the radio at first it was believed that he swollowed his thoung but in the paper today it said he had a heart attack. didnt ronaldo nearly swallow his thoung in the world cup final in 98. such an awful way to go.
The French keeper plays for Lyon who Foe was contracted to although he was on loan at Man City.He was in bits, dunno how he played. Was watchin it on Eurosport, scary stuff, hard to believe, may he rest in peace.Originally posted by Dodge
(he plays for lens I think)
It's all just a bunch of Tree-Hugging hippy crap.
words can't describe this tragic incident...he had a brain aneurysm which meant there wasnt a chance of saving him.
its one of those tragic things that goes with life and may god bless his soul
Marc Vivien Foe RIP
Forever will you be remembered
Where did you hear that? The papers are saying that all they can say for sure is that it wasn't a stroke.Originally posted by techs

There's some things where it doesn't matter how quick you are on the scene, you don't have a chance of saving a person - I think 1 in 10 heart attacks are unavoidably fatal.i don't really understand how it could happen without a challenge though, we're the paramedics on the scene fast enough?
Rigobert Song is quoted as saying his last words before leaving the dressing room for to start the second half were "Boys, even if it means dying on the pitch, we must win this semi-final"...![]()

it was on a european channel on digital. although now they are saying they are not sure what happened him
I was actually watching the game when it happened, went away for a bit and came back 2 hours later to hear it. Awful thing to happen. Glad to see sepp blatter got the abuse he deserved last night at the final BTW.
