Al Pacino to play next Bond Villan

Heard Al Pacino is meant to be in talks to play the Villan in the next Bond movie
Quantum of Solace due for release at the end of 2008.

Anyone else hear this

Of course, Pitt would be more accurate, looks wise, but I am not convinced he yet has the range of emotion required for such a challenging role.
