    Terminator: the Sarah Connor Cronicles

Anyone watching this ? i saw the first episode and thought it was awfull, I liked the films ( waiting for T4 to be made as the actual war with machines is the bit i find most appealing) thought this show might be good as you cant go too far wrong with robots from the future.

But it was the worst peice of TV ive seen in a while cheesey at every step.

I have 4 more episodes waiting at home should i watch them does it get any better or is it as bad as i think ?

Is it on TV here yet? It's gotten good reviews in the US.

    Also, mmm, Lena Heady.

I've seen the first 5 episodes, it's not bad if you ignore the way they completely ignore established Terminator canon in some places.

The most recent episode makes me think the next few could be quite interesting.
There's a part of me thinking that I'm only really checking it out because there's very little else in the way of new episodes available due to the writer's strike.

    Concur with both mmms.

As for the show. I've watched the first 2 eps, it has potential to go either way.

For most first episodes i give some time to because they have to set up charactors etc but these are all established charators and stort lines.

It was the young girl terminator that got me is she going to be a terminator that learns to love ?? thats what it looked like they where setting up.

Ill watch one or two more to see what way it goes but i was quite dissapointed and got embarresed at some of the corney lines they came out with.

That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

I wouldn't be worried about how the writers use Glau. They've already been very focussed on making her character as accurate to a Terminator as possible. Notice how she only shows facial expressions when warranted (as in when someone needs to be deceived). In all other cases she deliberately uses a blank expression, that's the type of thing that hardcore fans of the movies appreciate.

Watched the 2nd episode last night a little better (maybe because my expectations where so much lower ) but still a few really cringe worthy moments of dialogue. And it looks like they are going to follow through with the girl terminator being a love interest a little hand on the shoulder and a glance here and there looks like they are setting that up.

Still if she was programmed to follow my orders and looked like that id be happy
