The thread title got me wondering, with all the people linked to the job, I'm surprised no-one adapted the Beautiful South's 'Song for Whoever'.

Celtic fans started the Artur Boruc song at the end of last season but people are only really getting used to the words now. I doubt we could get a song to that tune going at Ireland games unless it's released on record or something.

It will be good for the away games anyway. I reckon Norway we will give it the first airing. I will certainly sing it.

Some body will have to re-write the words for me but I reckon "Yankee Doodle" has got serious potential! As in....
    YANKEE DOODLE WENT TO TOWN
    RIDING ON A PONY
STUCK A FEATHER IN HIS HAT
    AND CALLED IT TRAPPATONI

ya i doubt we could, they were fierce enthusiastic, great to see the suits singing it too there, and the women too of course

got this back about that song:

The video that you found is from the 80th birthday celebration of a Greek football team, called PAOK, based in Thessaloniki (North Greece). These fans are really crazy(!) and they were singing one of their favourite songs! Pantahinaikos' funs are the craziest though! Lol!

Just throwing words on a page:

    When you walk dorset street
With a ball at your feet
    Tra-ppat-oni!

    When Duff's on the wing
    And we're gonna win
    Tra-ppat-oni!
All goals, yellow and red cards tweeted in real time on mastodon, BlueSky and facebook
