    Prices of friendlies

What are teams charging for their pre-season friendlies?

It was 5euro into our game against Shels which was fair but just read that Galway are charging 20euro for their one against Limerick

Is it just me that thinks that's completely exorbitant?

    What are other teams charging?

That is definitely way OTT for a friendly against FD opposition in my opinion.

It was a tenner in for Kildare-Rovers, their standard entrance fee. Fair play though, they gave out free teamsheets at the gate! A fiver to see the return of Georgie was excellent value. Compensated for having to go to Cabra to see it! Plus its always a privilege to hear the Cork wit!

    Bohs v Mons was 10
    Longford v Rovers was 5
    Dundalk v Drogs was 10
    Galway v Athlone 20

At galway last night the guy in front of me had a rave at the ticket kiosk when they said 20e - in the end he said thats a disgrace to see them play athlone in a meaningless friendly on a wet night - and decided to leave

Saw the same guy at half time and he said he waited til game had started about 30 mins and just walked in for free as ticket kiosk was closed and nobody at the turnstyle - although 20 is steep I dont mind paying it really but when someone then walks in for free half an hour later it ****es me of somewhat

On a side note the U19 friendlies v the czechs, one in utd park, the other at home farm were 10

€20 is a disgrace and considering the quality(?) on display it was pure rip off. It's also our only friendly at home so one would think the club would have used the opportunity to gain support for the coming season.

Yer i would say 20 Euro is way over the top but again as said season ticket holders did get in for free and for those who did pay they could sit in the new stand at no extra charge . The reason i said that as when the season starts it's 25 Euro for the new stand !!!!!!!
It pays to have a season ticket .
